July 30, 2019
Cerner has notified us of the following planned even. LACIE production will be unavailable while this maintenance occurs and interfaces are expected to be impacted.
WHEN CHANGE/MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES WILL BE PERFORMED:
August 22nd 2019, from 3:30am CT till 5:30am CT.
SUMMARY OF WHAT IS CHANGING:
Cerner will be performing scheduled upgrades and installing patches to the HIE Oracle Linux application nodes.
The HIE application will be down. Interfaces sending to the HIE will not connect and messages will queue up until the downtime is completed.
REASON FOR CHANGE:
Scheduled operating systems upgrades to maintain industry standards.

The next upgrade available for LACIE, 2019Q2, is expected to be released any day now. Please review and update any test plans you have. Further upgrade information will be found on the new Upgrade page.
LACIE successfully completes eHealth Exchange content validation testing!

We have been notified that LACIE has passed the content testing with eHealth Exchange! Our entry on the https://ehealthexchange.org/participants/ page should be updated soon to reflect this as well.
The next upgrade is coming
February 1, 2019
We have started planning for the next upgrade, and would like to encourage our contributing participants and trading partners to begin planning testing efforts as well. We will be considering the 2019Q2 upgrade, which will not be available until April at the earliest. We hope to have testing completed before the end of the quarter making the production upgrade June 30th or sooner. Plans for installing the upgrade into our test environment as well as the production environment will be added here, so continue to check back often.

Please be advised, we have officially moved. We no longer are able to receive mail at the 12200-address. We also are in the process of moving the fax-number still. Faxes at our 816-255-number are not being received at this time. We hope to have this fixed within 2 weeks. Until then, faxes may be routed to 866-861-8428.
Patient Opt forms must be submitted to the new address or the temporary fax number or we will not receive them & we will be unable to complete the opt-request!
Welcome Liberty Hospital!

Liberty Hospital has completed their onboarding project with LACIE and has officially gone live! Organizations viewing the Aggregated Summary should automatically begin to see information from them if the records are able to be appropriately matched. Organizations that query/retrieve the documents instead should also begin to see records with this source when available.

LACIE offices will be moving to a new location in 2019!! Details will be coming soon & published here. Participating organizations will need to be sure to request updated materials (such as the patient opt forms) that include the mailing address on them (Organizations in Kansas should continue to following the same State of Kansas process & not change their patient opt request process). Requests mailed to the wrong address cannot be completed by LACIE.
Electronic addresses (server IP Addresses, ports, URLs) will not expected to be impacted by this move.

Please be patient with us as we complete the move over the next few weeks. Phone, fax and internet access for staff may be limited or interrupted while our service provider completes moving their equipment and services.
IMPORTANT: Organizations using the LACIE Opt brochure and forms will need to be sure to send these Opt requests to the new address! If you would like an updated electronic version of this form, send us an email with your request. Organizations with facilities in Kansas should continue to follow the KanHIT process for patient opt requests (no change is needed with our move).
